Working with Adults with Learning Disabilities

I was privileged to be invited by Watford and Three Rivers Adult Disability Team to give a talk at their Health & Wellbeing Project on Foot Health to a group of their service users, parents and carers.

This is a new venture, where they offer interactive workshops on oral care, foot health and diabetes management, to promote long term healthy lifestyles for adults with learning disabilities.

So far, I have enjoyed talking with a group at The Jarman Centre, Hemel Hempstead and more recently at Borehamwood Day Centre. Both sessions were great fun!
